The single fin, also known as the US box fin, is undoubtedly the most classic fin in the surf community. It is mainly used on longboards and is named after the fin system it uses. Single fins differ in shape, colour, size and material composition. The selection of the right fin depends on various factors, such as the intended use, body weight, board size and desired riding behaviour.
